Just when you thought Sephiroth was hard enough with a controller.
Most Square Enix fans can strongly recall the insanity that lapped around the post-ending super boss, Sephiroth, in the Olympus Colosseum of Kingdom Hearts. But, only few were able to smile whilst standing foot over chest as the battle dissolved into a blazing victory.
I, WAS NOT ONE OF THOSE FEW.
I'll admit it, alright? I never beat Sephiroth during my childhood playthrough. And, I sure as hell didn't beat him in adulthood, either. Even with a great chunk of gaming experience under my belt since my younger days – I still couldn't master the art of patience and determination during that battle.
I SUCKED – EVEN WITH A CONTROLLER.
But, something crossed my eye only recently. And, upon seeing it, I suddenly had all of those post-traumatic feelings hit me all over again.
Sephiroth was back, and another brave YouTuber was about to enter the ring with the ultimate Kingdom Hearts super-villain.
BUT WHAT'S THIS? A FRIGGIN' DANCE PAD?
That's right – a dance pad. YouTuber "SarahKey", who, might I add is more patient than any gamer will probably ever be – actually used an old school dance mat as a controller to fight the Kingdom Hearts boss.
Now, how Sarah managed to do this without having to take a break or a serious dose of stress pills, we'll never really know. But, we do know that this sort of thing takes a massive amount of dedication, and some serious skill that even long-term gamers don't possess.
Sephiroth, who is able to essentially annihilate you in a few hits, is considered to be the hardest boss in Kingdom Hearts (1.5 ReMix). But, having said that – Sarah and her dance tactics have proven that nothing is really that tough when you put your mind to it.
