Blood Uncle are the type of band you'll want to keep your ear to the ground for. These guys have been clawing their way out for a few months now, and, at long last, have managed to release their first UK single, 'Flagburner'; the gritty track that combines hardcore punk with political wordsmith poetry.
Blood Uncle joined the scene back in January 2016 with original members, Mac, James, Haydn, Dan and Jack. Although, going back to 2015, Blood Uncle was a simple side project that consisted only of Mac and the occasional help of James.
The boys wanted to make the band official, and so, fast-forwarding to January, the original lineup for the band had been formed. And with that, Blood Uncle was born.
Working closely with The Uncharted, Floorboards, We Come From Ashes, and a whole stack of other local heroes, the boys from Blood Uncle have been busy booking up shows across the counties whilst working on some pretty big recordings in the studio. So, here's hoping we'll see some new material very soon. I, for one, am pretty stoked to hear some more from these guys!
You can catch Blood Uncle in December this year at Dick Whittington, Gloucester.
Check out their social media for more information on the show. There's plenty to keep us itching for more.
Follow their live updates on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Oh, and make sure to check out Bandcamp or Soundcloud, too. We hope to see their catalogue of tracks bulking out very, very soon.
Good luck, boys.
